WHO I WORK WITH
Wherever you are, you're welcome here
A supportive space to explore what is coming up for you, with a counsellor who understands LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent experiences.
Families & Parents
When someone comes out, you have feelings too. Counselling for family members processing change and learning how to show up.
Allies
Counselling for anyone who may feel that their identity, views, or experiences mean they have to hide any part of who they are.

Hi, I'm Rach
(she/they)
I'm an LGBTQIA+ counsellor based in Liverpool, UK.
I hold space for you, and we take things gently at your pace.
I’m not here to fix you or tell you what to do.

I’m here alongside you as we stay with what’s present and notice what unfolds.
I’m human first, counsellor second, which means I show up as myself: warm, honest, and probably a little quirky!
What You Can Expect
Emergent and Non-Judgemental
A space where you don't have to explain or justify who you are.
At Your Pace
No pressure, no rush. We move in a way that feels right for you.
Grounded & Compassionate
Support that meets you where you are, with care and understanding.
ABOUT
Queer-Led.
Community-rooted.
Human.
Liverpool Queer Minds was founded because the mental health world needed more than basic understanding and tick-box training It needed people who live this life, who understand the particular weight of navigating identity, visibility, and belonging.

My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I don't pretend the world is more equal than it is. I work with what's real, and I take your whole self seriously.
-
Lived experience
Real understanding of what it means to live as a queer person in the world right now.
-
Being human
I bring my whole self, meeting you as a human being as well as a counsellor.
-
Trauma-informed practice
I understand the courage it takes to bring up traumatic experiences in counselling. You are in the driving seat, and we go at your pace.
-
No assumptions
You don't need to explain your identity unless you're comfortable doing so, and I will use your language and check anything I'm unsure of.
-
Liverpool & fully online
